1. Introduction We respect your privacy. This policy explains how "The 80%" collects and handles your data. We are a solo-developer project, not a corporation selling your data.

2. Data We Collect

• Account Information: Email address and Name (used for authentication via Google Firebase).
• Academic Data: Timetables, attendance records, and grades you input.
• Device Data: Crash reports and performance logs (via Google Analytics) to help us fix bugs.

3. Permissions We Request

• Camera: Required strictly for scanning QR codes of shared timetables to import them.
• Storage: Required to save generated PDF reports to your device.
• Notifications: Used to send local reminders for upcoming classes.

4. How We Use Your Data

• Sync: Your data is stored locally on your device and synced securely to Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so you can access it across devices.
• AI Processing: When you use "AI Import," your image or the PDF file of the timetable is temporarily processed by our AI provider (Google Gemini API) to extract text. It is not used to train public AI models.

5. Data Deletion You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can do this by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account within the app, or by contacting us at [email protected]
